 | Semolina Helva
Ingredients: - 2,5 cups (500 gr) semolina
- 5 cups milk
- 1 tablespoon pinenuts
- 250 gr. butter
- 2 cups sugar
| | Preparation: Tip the semolina and pine kernels into a large saucepan and cook over a very low heat for 30-45 minutes, stirring constatly with a wooden spoon until slightly coloured. Remove from the heat. Place the milk, butter and sugar in another saucepan and bring to boil over a medium heat, stirring continously with a wooden spoon. Gradually pour the boiling milk over the semolina and stir. Lower the heat and stirring continously cook until the milk has all been absorbed.
